Living with disability or a complex condition. Together we build practical capacity — mobility, strength, energy, confidence and emotional regulation — around goals that genuinely matter to you.
Accredited Exercise Physiology · Brisbane & SE QLD
Prevail is a solo Accredited Exercise Physiology practice helping people living with disability, injury and complex health needs build strength, confidence and independence — at home, in the community, or via telehealth.
ESSA-accredited AEP · NDIS (self- & plan-managed) · Mobile & telehealth
The basics
An AEP is a university-qualified allied health professional who uses movement and exercise to prevent and manage injury, disability and chronic conditions. We're recognised by Medicare, the NDIS, DVA and private health funds.
Think of an AEP as the bridge between the clinic and everyday life — translating your goals into safe, achievable movement that fits your body, your condition and your world. Not a gym program. A plan built for you.
Who I work with
Living with disability or a complex condition. Together we build practical capacity — mobility, strength, energy, confidence and emotional regulation — around goals that genuinely matter to you.
Reliable, clearly-communicated care with thorough, on-time reporting. Straightforward referrals and responsive coordination you can count on for your participants.
Recovering from injury or managing a chronic condition? Structured, evidence-based programs — including Medicare Chronic Disease Management plans and private options.
What I do
We start by understanding your history, goals and current starting point — so your plan is grounded in your reality.
Exercise tailored to your body, condition and environment. Progressed safely, at a pace that works for you.
No gym required — I come to you. Sessions in your home or local community, wherever you're most comfortable.
Flexible video-based support wherever you are in Australia — ideal for busy weeks, travel or regional clients.
Function and wellbeing. I support both physical goals and mental health — including emotional regulation and confidence.
Measurable outcomes and clear, professional reports for your support team and plan reviews.
Getting started
Tell me a little about you and how I can help. Two minutes, no obligation.
A relaxed call to make sure I'm the right fit for your goals and needs.
We map your goals, establish a baseline, and shape a plan together.
Tailored sessions at home, in the community or online — at your pace.
We track progress, celebrate wins and adjust as you grow.
About
I started Prevail to offer something I felt was missing: unhurried, genuinely individualised exercise physiology for people with complex needs. I work with clients living with conditions like cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, epilepsy, autism and mental health challenges — and I care as much about how you feel as what you can measure.
As a solo practice, I keep my caseload deliberately small so every client gets my full attention. That's also why I'm running a waitlist right now — so I can bring new clients on properly, not just quickly.
Paying for support
For self-managed and plan-managed participants. Exercise physiology is commonly funded under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living.
Up to five subsidised allied-health sessions a year with a GP Chronic Disease Management plan.
For eligible veterans with a referral (D904). Register your interest via the waitlist.
Return-to-work and injury rehabilitation programs for approved claims.
No referral needed. Private health rebates may apply depending on your level of cover.
Not sure which applies to you? Join the waitlist and I'll help you work it out.
Good to know
Not for NDIS or private sessions — you can reach out directly. For a Medicare CDM plan you'll need a referral from your GP, and DVA requires a referral (D904).
In-home and community sessions across Brisbane and South-East Queensland, plus telehealth for clients anywhere in Australia.
Not at all. Programs start exactly where you are — many clients are completely new to structured exercise, and that's welcome.
A wide range, including neurological and developmental conditions, brain injury, chronic pain and disease, and mental health. If you're unsure whether I can help, just ask.
NDIS sessions are charged within the current NDIS price limits. Private, Medicare and DVA fees are provided on enquiry — I'll always be upfront about costs before we begin.
As a solo practice I keep numbers low to protect the quality of care. The waitlist lets me onboard new clients thoughtfully. Join it and I'll be in touch as soon as a spot opens.
